Things have fallen into place to announce 2 HALLMAN+HOFFMAN 

Ottawa weekends as follows:

July 24 RCL BARRHAVEN   @7:30

AUGUST 21 RCL BELL'S CORNER'S @7

AUGUST 22 RCL WESTBORO @7

...about 39 Club Fish and Game Swing sound

HALLMAN+HOFFMAN perform at '39 Club' held at the Belleville Fish and Game Club. 

However, I was approached by the club and asked to put together (about a) 5 piece group for a (sort of) big band sound.  So...we played once last year and will again June 12 and Hallowe'en night. 

The band consists of 

ME (piano and bass) 

Wayne Morris on drums, 

Kent Smith, trombone, 

Jim Trott, trumpet

Ed Thompson Tenor Sax and clarinet

We are reading charts and the music is mostly 'swing' standards.

There will be a few waltzes thrown in too....and Latin and a polka.

The dance is 8-12 and there is a half hour snack at 10:30

Ottawa weekend

Next weekend (May 8,9) Hallman+Hoffman make their return to 

RCLs Barrhaven, Friday night, and Westboro, Saturday night. 

7pm both. Meal available, earlier Friday night.

I know it's kinda weird but:

I'm playing in Brockville tonight at this at 7:30 for 15 minutes!

Well... as it turned out - there were 1000 in attendance, on a HUGE stage (which dwarfed me) and a first class PA system run by the great Al Torrance ... and I did my 6 songs to an appreciative audience, and took off. I recommend y'all attend next year, or today!!!
